Beverly Farm Foundation
Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 23, 2026

Introduction and Scope

Beverly Farm Foundation (“Beverly Farm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information we may collect when you visit https://www.beverlyfarm.org/ (the “Site”), how we may use and disclose that information, and choices available to you. This Policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not necessarily apply to information collected through offline programs, clinical or residential records, employment systems, or third-party websites and platforms that maintain their own privacy policies.

Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use the Site and which features are enabled, we may collect:

  • Information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, organization or affiliation, and the content of messages or forms you submit.
  • Transaction and registration information associated with donations, Equestrian Center registrations, events, or other activities. Payment card or bank information submitted to a third-party payment processor is handled by that processor; Beverly Farm Foundation does not intend to store full payment card information on the Site.
  • Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from an IP address, dates and times of visits, and interactions with the Site.
  • Cookie and similar-technology information used to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand Site usage, maintain security, and, where enabled, measure outreach or advertising effectiveness.

The specific information collected depends on the forms, integrations, cookies, analytics tools, and other technologies operating on the Site. Beverly Farm Foundation will update this Policy as appropriate if those practices materially change.

Sensitive Information

Beverly Farm Foundation serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Please do not submit medical, health, disability, financial, Social Security number, or other sensitive information through a general Site form unless the form specifically requests that information and is intended for that purpose. Information collected through resident, clinical, employment, or other specialized systems may be governed by separate notices, agreements, or legal requirements.

How We Collect Information

  • Directly from you when you complete a form, register for a program, make an inquiry, subscribe to communications, volunteer information, or otherwise communicate with us.
  • Automatically through cookies, server logs, analytics tools, pixels, and similar technologies when those technologies are enabled on the Site.
  • From service providers and third-party platforms that support Site functions, transactions, fundraising, analytics, communications, or other activities.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
  • To administer programs, registrations, donations, events, volunteer activities, and other requested services.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site.
  • To understand Site usage and evaluate communications, outreach, and, where used, advertising effectiveness.
  • To prevent fraud, protect rights and safety, enforce applicable terms, and comply with legal obligations.
  • For other purposes disclosed when information is collected or with your consent when required.

Third-Party Service Providers

We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf or support Site functionality. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies, depending on the service.

Payment Processing – Equestrian Center Registrations

We use PayPal to process payments for Equestrian Center registrations, including riding camps and Barn Buddies programs. Payment information submitted to PayPal is handled under PayPal’s applicable privacy and security practices. Beverly Farm Foundation does not intend to store full payment card information submitted through PayPal.

Online Donations

Online donations are processed through Qgiv, a third-party fundraising platform. When you follow a donation link or use an embedded or hosted donation experience, Qgiv may collect and process donation and personal information under its applicable privacy policy and terms.

Analytics, Advertising, and Similar Technologies

The Site may use analytics and measurement technologies, including Google Analytics, to help us understand Site traffic and use. These technologies may collect technical and usage information through cookies or similar technologies.

The Site may also use advertising or measurement technologies, such as Meta Pixel, where configured and permitted. These technologies can collect information about interactions with the Site and may enable the provider to associate information with an account or device. Because Beverly Farm Foundation provides disability-related services, we seek to limit the use of advertising and tracking technologies on pages or forms that may reveal sensitive information. The actual configuration of these technologies, including any restrictions or consent controls, should be reflected in this Policy.

Cookies and Your Choices

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for Site operation as well as analytics or other optional purposes. Depending on the technologies enabled on the Site, you may be able to manage optional cookies through a cookie preference tool, your browser settings, or provider-specific controls. Blocking certain cookies may affect Site functionality.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

Beverly Farm Foundation does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define terms such as ‘sale,’ ‘share,’ or ‘targeted advertising’ broadly enough to include certain advertising or analytics disclosures. Whether those definitions apply depends on the technology used, the information disclosed, and applicable law. Beverly Farm Foundation will provide any legally required notices or choices if its practices are subject to such requirements.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to meet operational, accounting, reporting, donor, program, or legal requirements, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by category of information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If we learn that we collected such information in circumstances requiring deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending on where you live and which laws apply to Beverly Farm Foundation, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about certain disclosures. Nonprofit organizations may be exempt from some state consumer privacy laws, and available rights vary by jurisdiction. We will evaluate privacy requests under the laws applicable to Beverly Farm Foundation and the request.

To submit a privacy question or request, contact info@beverlyfarm.org. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services. We do not control their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy notice of any third-party service you use.

International Visitors

Beverly Farm Foundation is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the effective date.
